Wine tourism and tastings in Jerez
· Albariza de la Torre

Wine tourism is about more than tasting a glass. It introduces visitors to vineyards, winery traditions, local food and the people who work with the land. Around Jerez, that experience is closely connected with the identity of the region.
The landscape behind the wine
The countryside, albariza soils and vineyard work help explain the wines of the area. Visiting a winery makes those connections tangible: you can see the vines, learn about production and discover the differences between wine styles.
Jerez also brings together culture, gastronomy and local traditions. Historic wineries and tabancos provide different settings for learning about wine and the place it comes from.
A visit to Viña La Torre
Our family winery stands between El Puerto de Santa María and Jerez de la Frontera, in Pago de Balbaina. Agriculture and winemaking remain at the heart of the project, alongside an interest in developing new wines while keeping the character of our origins.
Our history includes white, red, rosé and sparkling wines, with Galantería occupying a special place in the project. A visit is an opportunity to hear those stories and understand the work behind the bottle.
Tastings and events among the vines
The vineyard offers a setting for tastings, food pairings and gatherings. Different activities focus on different aspects of the winery: the wines themselves, gastronomy or the traditions of the vineyard.
Check the current experiences section for the activities available now and their published dates. Historical articles describe the winery's development; they do not replace the details of a current event.
Exploring wine styles
Dry fortified wines such as Fino, Amontillado, Oloroso and Palo Cortado contrast with sweet styles such as Moscatel and Pedro Ximénez. A tasting can introduce their aromas, textures and different ways of serving them.
The pleasure of wine tourism lies in connecting the glass with its landscape, its history and the people behind it. Come with curiosity and take time to discover what makes each wine distinct.
