Sherry: flavour, culture and responsible enjoyment
· Albariza de la Torre

Sherry is part of the culture of our region. Its appeal lies in the variety of styles, the traditions of its wineries and the possibilities it offers at the table.
A gastronomic and cultural experience
From the dry character of Fino to the intensity of Oloroso and the sweetness of Pedro Ximénez, each style offers different aromas, textures and food pairings. Learning about them helps us appreciate their origins and the work behind them.
Fino and Manzanilla can accompany tapas and shellfish. Amontillado and Oloroso offer possibilities with more intense dishes, while Moscatel and Pedro Ximénez invite combinations with desserts and cheese.
Wine and health: clear information matters
Wine contains alcohol. It should not be recommended to prevent disease, lose weight or improve health. The World Health Organization states that no level of alcohol consumption is free of health risk and that alcohol increases the risk of several types of cancer.
The medical claims in the earlier version of this article have been removed. This winery does not recommend a daily amount of wine as a treatment or healthy habit.

Discover the land behind the glass
A vineyard visit is an opportunity to discover the landscape, agricultural work and history of our wines. Listening, learning and sharing are part of the experience, without presenting alcohol consumption as a medical benefit.
